01 Organization Information
Huntfolio ("the app") is published by [DEVELOPER_NAME], operating a Google Play organization (company) developer account. This policy explains how the app handles information.

02 Data Collection
Huntfolio collects no personal data whatsoever. We do not collect, transmit, sell, rent or receive any information about you or your device. Specifically, the app does not collect:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers or any contact details
- Device identifiers, advertising IDs or IP addresses
- Location data
- Usage analytics, telemetry, crash reports or diagnostics
- The job applications, employers, salaries, contacts or notes you enter
Everything you type into Huntfolio is written to your device's private app storage and stays there.
03 Data Usage
All processing happens on your device. Your pipeline, follow-up agenda, conversion funnel, per-source statistics, streaks and achievements are computed locally from the records you entered, purely so the app can display them to you.
No data is used for advertising, profiling, model training or any other purpose.
04 Data Sharing
We share nothing, because we have nothing to share. No data is sent to us, to any third party, or to any server at any time.
The one exception is entirely under your control: when you choose Settings → Export, the app writes a JSON or CSV file and hands it to Android's share sheet so you can send it wherever you want. Huntfolio does not choose the destination and does not transmit it anywhere itself.
05 Data Security
Your data is stored locally using two mechanisms:
- Hive — your applications, stages, interviews, contacts, tags and achievements, in the app's private storage sandbox, readable only by Huntfolio.
- Hive with AES-256 encryption (HiveAesCipher) — your private notes (salary targets, candid impressions) are encrypted at rest.
- flutter_secure_storage — the encryption key and your settings, held in the Android Keystore.
The encryption key is generated on your device and never leaves it. Because there is no server, there is no database of ours to breach.
06 Data Retention
Your data is retained on your device for exactly as long as you want it. It is deleted when you use Settings → Clear all data, delete individual records, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling removes everything permanently — we hold no copy and cannot restore it.
07 No User Accounts
Huntfolio has no accounts, no sign-up, no login and no authentication. You never provide an email address or password. There is no profile associated with you.
08 Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Huntfolio is a productivity tool intended for adults conducting a job search and is not directed at children. It is not part of the Google Play "Designed for Families" programme.
Because the app collects no data from anyone regardless of age, it collects no data from children under 13 either. We therefore have no personal information of a child to review or delete. If you have questions, contact [DEVELOPER_EMAIL].
09 Your Rights
Because your data never leaves your device, you exercise every right directly and immediately — no request to us is needed:
- Access & portability — Settings → Export JSON or CSV gives you the complete dataset in an open format.
- Rectification — edit any record at any time.
- Erasure — delete a record, use Settings → Clear all data, or uninstall.
- Objection / restriction — there is no processing by us to object to.
10 No Third-Party Services
Huntfolio contains no third-party SDKs: no analytics, no advertising networks, no crash reporting, no social logins, no cloud storage, no payment processors and no trackers of any kind. Nothing in the app profiles you or phones home.
11 Permissions
Huntfolio requests exactly one Android permission:

Huntfolio requests no camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage or notification permissions. Every other feature works fully offline, including in airplane mode.
12 Google Play Data Safety
Our Google Play Data Safety declaration states: no data collected and no data shared. This remains accurate for every feature — including insights, statistics, streaks, achievements and export — because all of it is computed on-device and transmitted nowhere.
13 Policy Dates

If this policy ever changes materially, the updated version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date, and a corresponding app update will accompany any change in behaviour. Since the app collects nothing, we do not expect substantive change.

15 Legal
Huntfolio is designed to comply with the GDPR (EU/UK), the CCPA/CPRA (California), COPPA, and Google Play's Developer Programme Policies, including the User Data and Data Safety requirements.
Under the GDPR, no personal data is processed by us, so there is no controller-side processing, no international transfer, and no lawful-basis assessment required for our part. Under the CCPA/CPRA, we do not collect, sell or share personal information, and therefore honour those rights by default.
